Why Relaxe comes out ahead

A year to decide, not a month.

Relaxe gives you 365 days at home to decide. Osaki gives you 30 days from the day the chair arrives, and the buyer pays all the shipping both ways. A chair this size is something you learn to live with, and a year covers every season and every mood.

It arrives in days and you plug it in.

Relaxe delivers in 2 to 5 business days, and there is nothing to assemble. The Osaki’s free delivery is curbside: it arrives unassembled in its factory boxes and you build it yourself. White glove delivery, which includes assembly, costs $275 and adds one to two weeks.

Free in-home delivery, a $200 value.

The current Fall Season Offer includes it, so the chair comes inside your home, not just to the curb. You choose it at checkout.

$700 less, or $975 less with the setup included.

At $2,799, against a $5,330 original price, Relaxe is $700 under the Osaki’s $3,499. Add the Osaki’s $275 white glove option, which sends someone to set the chair up, and the gap grows to $975. Relaxe’s free in-home delivery is part of the current offer, so check the product page for today’s terms.

Three years of warranty.

Relaxe comes with a 3-year warranty. The Osaki’s included warranty is one year of parts and labor, then two years of parts only, and a longer parts and labor plan costs $249.95 or $349.95 extra.

What you get with the Relaxe chair

Diagram of the Relaxe 53-inch SL-track following the curve of the body, compared with a standard S-track — The 53-inch SL-track follows your spine from neck to thighs.

The track runs the full 53 inches from your neck down to your thighs, with four shiatsu rollers working along it and automatic shoulder positioning that finds where to start. Twenty-eight airbags squeeze your shoulders, arms, hips, calves and feet. There is heat in the lower back, foot rollers for your soles, and one button that tips you into zero gravity, with three angles to choose from.

You are not stuck with a preset. There are 12 automatic programs and 5 manual techniques, with 5 speeds, 3 widths and 3 air pressure levels, all from a remote with a color display. Bluetooth, USB and memory card playback are built in, along with surround sound. A retractable calf frame adapts to different heights, and Relaxe recommends the chair for people from 5’1" to 6’4" and up to 330 pounds.
